Your rights

The booklet contains useful information on the rights of people in Iceland when it comes to intimate relationships, for example marriage, cohabitation, divorce and cohabitation, pregnancy, prenatal care, pregnancy termination, child custody, access rights, violence in intimate relationships, trafficking, prostitution, pressing charges, legal aid and residence permits. There are also references to further information on assistance, such as telephone numbers, addresses and websites of various agencies and NGOs. The booklet is published in Icelandic, English, Polish, Spanish, Thai, Russian, Arabic and French.
