Mapping the knowledge of immigrant students

Markmiðið með Stöðumatinu er að styðja við vinnu skólanna varðandi mat á þekkingu nemenda af erlendum uppruna þannig að skólinn geti undirbúið og aðlagað kennsluna að þörfum nemandans og þekkingargrunni hans. 

Since the fall of 2016, the municipalities of Árborg, Hafnarfjörður and Reykjanesbær have been in professional cooperation on translation and adaptation of a tool that would be useful for schools while mapping learning skills, knowledge and experience of immigrant students in their strongest language.

The content is intended for compulsory schools, but it can also be used at an upper secondary school level.
