Mapping the knowledge of immigrant students

The aim of Stöðumat is to support schools in mapping the knowledge of immigrant students so that the school can prepare and tailor teaching to the needs and knowledge of the student. 

Since the fall of 2016, the municipalities of Árborg, Hafnarfjörður and Reykjanesbær have been in professional cooperation on translation and adaptation of a tool that would be useful for schools while mapping learning skills, knowledge and experience of immigrant students in their strongest language.

The content is intended for compulsory schools, but it can also be used at an upper secondary school level.
