Music schools

The Árnes County Music School (Tónlistarskóli Árnesinga) offers a broad range of classes, i.e. Suzuki method for students who start at the age 3-5, classical studies for 6 years and older, eurythmics for 8-9 years and older, vocal studies for 10-15 years called Songbirds and vocal studies for 16 years and older.

Tónsmiðja Suðurlands is a private music school, recognized by the Ministry of Education. The school offers traditional music classes as well as various courses.
